Privacy and Data Policy
Launch is software for commercial cleaning companies and the organizations that hire them. Launch is operated by DSC Solutions, LLC of Lancaster, Pennsylvania ("Launch", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information Launch collects, how it is used, and how each customer's data is kept separate from every other customer's.
Data separation
Launch is built so that each account sees only its own data.
- An organization sees only its own sites, the vendors working those sites, and the service records, inspections, issues, and documents for those sites.
- A vendor sees only its own company, accounts, crews, and records. A vendor's other clients, accounts, and pricing are never visible to an organization.
- DSC Solutions' operating business sees only a vendor's company profile: name, status, plan, markets served, owner contact, and whether insurance, W-9, and agreement are on file. It does not see the documents themselves or a vendor's other accounts, crews, clients, or pricing.
- Launch support staff can open an account only to provide support or run the service. Each such session is time-limited, recorded in that account's audit log, and shown to the account while it is in use.
- Bid Board listings are visible to vendors in the listed market. Bids are visible only to the organization that posted the opportunity and the vendor that submitted the bid.
Information we collect
- Request and application forms. Name, company, email, phone, location, company details, and anything you choose to tell us.
- Account information. Login email, user names and roles, company documents such as certificates of insurance and W-9 forms.
- Operational records. Schedules, sites, clock-in and clock-out times, inspection results, photos, work orders, and issue logs.
- Billing information. Plan and subscription status. Card details are entered with and held by Stripe; Launch never receives or stores a card number.
- Website usage. Aggregate page-view data collected without cookies through Vercel Web Analytics.
How we use it
- To run the service: scheduling, timekeeping, inspections, documents, the Bid Board, and the records each account sees.
- To review applications and confirm that vendor companies and insurance are real and current.
- To bill subscriptions, provide support, and send service and account notices.
- To respond to requests submitted through this website.
- To keep the service secure and to improve it.
Launch does not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
- The parties to the work. Records for a site are shared between the organization that owns the site and the vendor that services it.
- Service providers that run parts of Launch for us: Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Jotform (website request forms). They may use the data only to provide their services.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Launch, its customers, or others.
Retention
We keep account and operational records for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations. When a vendor stops servicing an organization's sites, the organization keeps the records for those sites; the vendor keeps its own records.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, access is limited by account and role, and passwords are stored only in hashed form. No system is completely secure, and we will notify affected customers of a breach as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law or contract. Account owners can update most information directly in Launch.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes are also sent to account owners by email.
